Our History

Jakubs Upholstery & Leather Repairs Inc was established in 2011 with one mission: To bring a great customer service experience to those in need of furniture repairs right from the comfort of your own home. I specialize in high quality leather repairs, re-dye, high density foam replacements, fibre fill stuffing jobs on many different sofa/sectional sets, frame/spring repairs, seat webbing, upholstery (Please note I don’t re-upholster entire sofas as I’m not a seamster) to Calgary and surrounding areas. All my repairs are completed with meticulous detail, resulting in a product that is as good as new.

What Areas Do You Service?

I can travel to any location within Calgary and extend my services to areas within a 60km radius outside of Calgary's city limits, including Chestermere, Strathmore, Okotoks, Airdrie, Cochrane, and more.

What Can You Recover/Repair?

I get many questions about what I can recover or repair. Every project is unique and the best way to know is to reach out for a quote. I am not able to re-upholster an entire couch or change panels.

How Much Do You Charge?

There is no set pricing because every job is unique and varies in price, however, I still keep my pricing affordable and reasonable. You can get a quote for your project before you decide if you want to go through with it!

Amazing work and super friendly. Needed a blemish on a new leather couch repaired. Jakub came out to my place, assessed the area, quickly color matched the dye and got it fixed. You'd never know there was a blemish in the first place and he did all of this in roughly 15 minutes. Very happy with the results and would recommend to friends and family

Jakub came and added some stuffing to our couch. We had the couch for about 6-7 years and the "favorite" spots started to get really warn in. He did an amazing job and our couch felt like new again! We also recently bought 2 floor model couched from Leon's and he gave us some really good advice for how to clean them. Highly recommend him for your upholstery needs.

Jakub is clearly very skilled and highly experienced at leather restoration. The tagline on his business card reads: “You are in good hands”, and this is exactly what he exudes and what we felt from our very first communication with him to the completion of the work. He listens intently and cares about every detail of the job at hand. He was able to perfectly match the original stain colour and sheen of our leather chairs. He restored the leather furniture in our living room to better than we ever hoped for – our 17-year-old furniture looks brand new again. We got nearly new furniture for an incredibly reasonable price. Jakub did a truly stellar job. We could not be more thrilled with the result. If I could give Jakub 6 stars, I would. Jakub came to evaluate an issue I had with a relatively new sofa. He evaluated it, made some recommendations and brought me some foam samples. He did and absolutely fantastic job and my sofa is 10x better than new. Prompt, professional, and a craftsman at his trade. To say that I'm blown away by the results would be an understatement. I had no idea this type of transformation was possible, I thought I was going to have to sell it because it was so uncomfortable. . Do yourself a favour and just buy whatever sofa looks good to you, and have Jakub refoam it, then you'll have perfection in your living room. 👌👌👌👌👌
